Oh, Mark's story sounds very funny. But I'm always a little bit scared when I read "was not interested in her/him at first"... my cousin is one of those guys, too. He wanted to get another woman as girlfriend, but she had no interest and so he got a (female) friend of hers he first was not interested. Now they are married for 7 yr. but I doubt they are completely lucky. He smokes, is medium tall and very thin, she is tiny, has many pounds too much and non-smoker. Looks like Pat & Patachon. They behave in a way I can see that's not the best solution with that couple. And that's the opinion of my former wife, too.

So I had to tell my story, huh?

It was in 1994 and I startet to learn a job after military duty. In Germany, this job learning consists of the work in the company and as well in a special "profession school". This school was about 400 km away with people coming from the whole country, so it was a boarding school. The learning period was 3 years long and every year there were 2 periods of having school for about 6-8 weeks each.

In 1995, I fell in love with a girl coming from Saxony. After a month or so she kicked me off when I visited her and her family near Dresden, so I was really down. In the next school period, a few months later, she saw that it was a decision made too quick and we came together again. So the next years we had a long-distance love over nearly 400 km. First 4-6 weeks time between a visit, then 2 weeks. In 2001 I bought a good bottle of French champagne for THE question (drink it when the answer is yes - and even drink it when she says no in order to kill frustration Laughing )... she said yes and in June of 2002 we got married. She moved to me after the marriage weekend.

Then the problems began. She wrote some applications for a new job here before, had many chances but it seemed her old job which had no end time is the thing why other people got these jobs. So we thought maximum half a year and it's all done. But it wasn't so. Nothing happened and so a lot of frustration came up. She got a small job with no much money later, but then it was almost too late. This year we broke completely and I left our former common apartment in June 07. That's why I'm sitting here.

on a brighter note.. do you like the pic of piper with the guitar?

Oh yes, it is perfect for you as a guitar player. I even like the scenes of CU when she makes music on the rooftop.

The back cover pic of the Accept album "Breaker" (former German metal combo) shows two white Gibson Flying V guitars... that's a guitar I could dream of (if I wasn't so free of talent LOL).

Well CU is easy-to-watch stuff. She plays the New Jersey girl going to NYC trying to get a record contract, but she isn't lucky. She had to earn money so she gets a job as a waitress at the CU bar where the girls dance on table, make fire shows etc. And - of course - she meets a guy who reminds her why she came to NY. To make music.

fd150 : ahahaha.. you're lucky you didn't get one of those dreams when you can't speak or you can't run..

As for the sad story.. I know how it is man . Even though I’m younger, I can say I had such problems too, even worse unfortunately and I know how it is to suffer like that. Love is an extreme sport.. only few dare to try it, and once they got hurt, they wish they never try it again .
I really hope you recovered and got to heal some of your wounds .

Rage More ! Cool

Who hasn't? Very Happy

I had a dream about Piper a few months ago in which we just randomly met in the street and I professed my fanboy-ism for her. We got to talking and started to hang out and went to book stores and movies and listen to albums and just have a laugh. It was like we had be BFFs forever. Wink

Pitty we have to wake up.
