 After her last show of Reasons to be pretty yesterday, Piper Perabo is now shooting The Prince of Motor City in Detroit. A September 2009 air date is expected, if - as the producers of the show have said - the pilot is accepted. We´re keeping our fingers crossed! |

 At the end of June, our Piper Perabo Fan Johannes flew from Germany to New York to see Piper in Reasons to be pretty. Now he is back and has sent us a gorgeous report about his trip - including his short conversation with Piper! You can now find it here.

 As you can read here, Piper Perabo joined a special reading of "The Shape of Things" on Monday evening. This was a special one-night-only reading! We´ll try to get some pictures of it.
Also - Good news for all those who haven't had a chance to see Reasons to be pretty. You'll get another chance! Here's an interview Piper gave and in it we're told that it will be moving to Broadway beginning January 26, 2009 - with it's entire cast.
Also Piper had an appearance on The Late Show with Conan O´Brien about a week ago. You can now watch it here. |

 Good things come to those who wait! Finally, there´s a new interview with Piper Perabo. You can find it here. She mainly talks about Reasons to be pretty, but also about the new ABC pilot Prince of Motor City. I've also posted a few reviews of Reasons to be pretty in the forum.
Besides that, the 2008 vote of AfterEllens Hot 100 is completed. Piper is in position 32 - a mystery to us if you look at some women who placed better. Last year she was in 13th place. By the way: Piper's The Cave and Imagine Me & You fellow Lena Headey is in position 10 - No. 4 in 2007.

 Piper Perabo goes television! She's joining the ABC pilot "Prince of Motor City", which is about a young Harvard professor (Warren Christie) who is forced to go back to Detroit to take over his family's auto company. Piper is going to play the ex-girlfriend who still has feelings for him.
It is described as a gothic family soap inspired by William Shakespeare's "Hamlet". Which implies that the professor, who is the main character, would be Hamlet and Piper Ophelia or something ... ;-) So we can be really excited! |
